The World Series of Poker launched a real money gaming site for poker players to enjoy in the state of Nevada just yesterday and already, the site has seen issues. After only one day in operation, players are reporting deposit issues. Many have been unable to load their new player accounts.
According to reports at popular poker forum TwoPlusTwo, players have been experiencing cashier issues. Player deposits were not being accepted and this issue has now been confirmed by a representative from WSOP.com.
Members of the TwoPlusTwo forum have reported several problems with depositing at the site using a major bank credit card. ACH transfers are another method of deposit, and though working, only allows for $500 a minimum each day. The representative for WSOP commented in the thread in response to credit card issues:
“Some credit card companies may block gaming transactions. Contact your credit card issuer to find out if this charge was blocked intentionally. Let them know that this is something you want and that WSOP.com online poker is fully regulated and legal in the state of Nevada. If the credit card issuer will still not let you make this transaction, you may want to try a different card. The current alternative is an ACH transfer.”
Players thought maybe deposits could be made at Caesars Entertainment facilities but this option is not available. According to the representative for WSOP.com, the problems with depositing at the site are being looked into. He further stated that the limits on deposits will ‘likely be fixed as well’.
New members to the WSOP.com site reported in the forum of various issues using certain banking cards. Players also reported the ways they made a deposit that worked. All around, players seemed to be working together to try and get everyone online for real money game play.
