The Full Tilt Poker Remission saga continues as the Garden City Group has updated their website on November 15th with new information for players, pros and affiliates. According to the new update by GCG, most of the FTP remission payments will be made by March 31st of 2014. However, former pros of Full Tilt Poker, affiliates and players who are disputing their FTP balances will not be paid by this date.
According to the new statement at FullTiltPokerClaims.com, the Garden City Group is currently reviewing petitions that were filed by players who confirmed the balance online and are not disputing the amount or have not filed multiple petitions. The claims administrator expects the payments to be completed to this group of players by the very end of March 2014.
The Garden City Group will be extending the deadline for players who are affiliates as well as players who are being identified as Pros from the data collected by Full Tilt Poker. Certain pros such as Team Full Tilt members or players who were playing with money from Full Tilt or compensation by Full Tilt to play will most likely be ineligible for payment. The GCG is currently working with government officials to review player status to determine who the ineligible pros are in this process.
Players who were affiliates will not be given any affiliate payment but they will receive their playing balance. Affiliates will see repayment as well but this amount will be only a portion of the account balance that is not related to the status of affiliate account.
It seems as though there may now be an actual end in sight for former US Full Tilt Poker players. According to multiple reports, over one million players who victims of Black Friday and close to $160 million was denied to these players.
