March 2015 U.S. Online Poker Offshore Payment Processing Report

Maying a paymentMarch brought little in the way of change with U.S. offshore online poker payment processing. Most sites were able to handle the rush of withdrawal requests from the Super Bowl without any major slowdown. This should be good news as the burden of March Madness hits the payment processing system.

SWCPoker launched since our last report.  It replaces SealsWithClubs on our list.  The two Bitcoin-only sites have close ties, as we reported in February.

The grade for the previous month is listed in parenthesis.

BetOnline B+ (B+)

BetOnline is the flagship of the Chico Poker Network.  Players can request a check in amounts up to $2,500 for a fee of $25.  The fee is waived on Fridays if the player has not requested a complimentary check in the previous month.  Checks are sometimes processed as money orders.  These arrive in 5-7 days.  Western Union is available in amounts up to $500.  The fee is $50.  These are processed in 2-5 days.

Intertops B+ (B+)

Intertops is the most well respected brand on the Revolution Gaming Network.  Many of its higher limit games are shared only with Juicy Stakes.  Intertops was restricted to invited and existing players for years.  It recently started accepting new players from most states.

The withdrawal speeds at Intertops are exceptional.  Its grade reflects the lack of a free withdrawal option.

Checks are available in amounts up to $3,000.  The fee is $50.  These are delivered in about one week.  Wires are processed in amounts up to $2,500.  The fee is also $50.  These are processed in 2-3 weeks.  Intertops processes withdrawals to credit cards for a fee of just $9.  These are processed in about one week.

SWCPoker B (N/A)

SWCPoker is the new version of SealsWithClubs.  It only processes payments in Bitcoin.  Withdrawals are paid in 12 hours or less.  Bitcoin involves in additional risk due to currency fluctuations.  Some players enjoy this extra element of gambling.

Merge Gaming C (C+)

The Merge Gaming cashier processes payments for Carbon Poker, PlayersOnly, Sportsbook.ag and SuperBook.  It seems the Merge Gaming cashier got bottlenecked after the Super Bowl.  Checks are processed in 5-6 weeks and there is little sign of it improving.  The network is strong, it has just hit a slow point, likely due to the high volume this time of the year.

Juicy Stakes C (C)

Juicy Stakes is on the Revolution Gaming Network.  Many of its tables are only shared with Intertops.  The withdrawal policy at Juicy Stakes is not ideal for players that made deposits before new management took over the site.  Some players are required to give substantial action before withdrawing.  This does not appear to affect new players.

Checks and cash transfers are available in amounts up to $1,000.  The fee is $100.  These are processed in about one week.  Players that earn 2,500 FPPs in a week receive withdrawals for $50.

Lock Poker Scam F- (F-)

Lock Poker is a total scam and fraud that will not die  It is a deposit-only poker site.  It does not process withdrawals.  Do not deposit at Lock Poker under any circumstance.  Any chips stuck on Lock Poker should be considered lost forever.
