4th Gold Bracelet for Robert Mizrachi after $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship Win

Poker pro Robert Mizrachi now has four World Series of Poker gold bracelets after winning the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship. The poker pro was able to outlast the field of 87 players to win the event, earning his fourth gold bracelet in the process. Mizrachi earned $242,662 for his efforts after defeating Matt Grapenthien in heads up play.

When final table play began, Mizrachi would be the chip leader and would go up against such players as Ted Forrest, George Danzer and David Benyamine. The six player final table would be whittled down to two, Mizrachi and Grapenthien, with three hours to play before the winner would be named.

Grapenthien won the event back in 2014 and really wanted to earn the bracelet again but was unable to get past Mizrachi. On the final hand, Grapenthien would be in for 20,000 with a 4 of clubs whiel Mizrachi would be at 60,000 with a 9 of hearts. Grapenthien raised to 120,000 and Mizrachi would three bet.

Grapenthien called, with fourth street giving him a 2 of clubs while Mizrachi earned a 6 of clubs. Mizrachi would bet, Grapenthien would call. Fifth street showed Mizrachi an Ace of spades while Grapenthien would get a 9 of spades. Mizrachi would bet again and Grapenthien would call. Sixth street gave Grapenthien a Queen of clubs and Mizrachi an 8 of spades.

The betting would begin again with Mizrachi and Grapenthien would raise, which put him all in. Mizrachi would call and show his hole cards which were pocket aces. Grapenthien was dead with 4-3 off suit.
