Vikings Feature Dalvin Cook
Dalvin Cook was the 9th pick in the 2017 National Football League Draft. After his great career at Florida State, he now takes the wings as the lead running back for the Vikings. Cook is ahead of LaTavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon behind Sam Bradford.
Bradford will start his second season as the quarterback of the Vikings. He is ahead of Case Keenum. Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen are the top two receivers for Minnesota, with Kyle Rudolph as their starting tight end. The Vikings are on the road at the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.
Peterson Returns to Minnesota
What a story line. Adrian Peterson, known as All Day is back in Minnesota. This time, he is the running back for the New Orleans Saints. Peterson spent his first 10 seasons with the Vikings, and rushed for 11,747 yards and 97 touchdowns. Peterson will split time at running back with Mark Ingram.
The Saints were the top passing team a season ago with Drew Brees at the helm. One loss for the Saints was top receiver Brandin Cooks, who went to the New England Patriots. The defense for New Orleans was the major down fall in 2016, as they allowed 28.4 points per game.
Saints Upset Vikings
There are many projecting that the Minnesota Vikings are going to make the postseason. The Vikings could compete with the Green Bay Packers at the top of the division, but the business for Monday night is the Week 1 game. The week 1 games is going to go to the road underdog.
The New Orleans Saints have worked on fixing their defense a little bit, and we know Drew Brees is not scared of any team on his schedule. Look for the Saints to move the ball at will, and win in an upset. Bet the New Orleans Saints +3.5 over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.
