The final of three games on Thanksgiving Day in the National Football League will feature a pair of NFC East rivals, as the New York Giants and Washington Redskins mix it up. Both teams have struggled thus far in 2017 – with both looking to miss the postseason. The New York Giants have just a pair of wins, as they are 2-8 and in last place in the division. The Giants are coming off an upset win over Kansas City.
For the Washington Redskins, they are 4-6 on the season. The Redskins have lost back to back games, including an overtime affair last week to the Saints. The Redskins are 0-3 in divisional games this season, with two losses to the Eagles, and a loss to the Cowboys. These two teams will meet again on December 31st. The Washington Redskins are -7 at home over the New York Giants.

Jay Gruden is still wondering how they blew the big lead and lost in New Orleans last week. The loss was crushing for Washington as they fell even further back in the NFC standings. Washington in their last two games have scored 30.5 points per game, but lost them both. The defense has dropped to 31st in the National Football League, allowing nearly 27 points per game.
The Redskins are seeing the last of Kirk Cousins as their starting quarterback. Cousins has thrown for just shy of 2,800 yards and 17 touchdowns this season. Vernon Davis has emerged as the top target for the Redskins, with 33 receptions and 527 yards. The Redskins are 7th in passing yards, but 17th in rushing yards. Washington is at Dallas in Week 13.
Giants Looking to Start Streak
Ben McAdoo and the New York Giants picked up probably the upset of the season in Week 11. The interesting part – is it didn’t matter a ton for either team. The Giants will have to run the table to even finish at .500 this season, and Kansas City kept their two game lead in the division with the Raiders loss. The Giants won the game with a field goal in overtime.
In the two Giants wins, they have held opponents to just 9.5 points per game. If they could stay consistent, they would be tough to beat. But, the Giants are allowing 24.7 points per game, which is 21st in the league. The offense for New York is even worse as they are 30th in the league with 16 points per game.
Redskins Spring Loose and Blowout Giants
Kirk Cousins is due for another breakout game, where he goes crazy. The Redskins have not helped him out in the receiving game with injuries, and other various aspects. The Redskins are going to win this game, and win by double figures over the Giants. The final bet for this game is the Washington Redskins -7 over the New York Giants on Thursday Night.
