Golden State continued their dominance by scoring 147 points against the Pelicans on National TV. That wasn’t even the highest-scoring total by a team in the past week. But, they have been sensational, and tonight we get scared. BOOGIE COUSINS IS STARTING.
The Clippers, on the other hand, have dropped four games in a row, following a lengthy win-streak. They are still holding on to the #7 seed, which is impressive given how many rotational guys they have who are struggling to shoot.

Warriors:
They have the #1 scoring offense in the league, which should come as a surprise to nobody. Steph is looking like the all-time great scorer he is, while KD and Klay continue to knock down all of their jumpers. Draymond has been starting to score a bit of late, something we have not seen in quite some time. Something that is very surprising about this team is that they are #22 in points allowed, as the defense has not done quite as well as we have all been expecting it to do. With their rim-protector and big, tall playmaker coming in, though, that will get better
If he can fit in seamlessly, and stay healthy the rest of the way, the rest of the league is doomed. Kevon Looney has played decently as a starter and should continue to do so as a reserve. This is a team starting five All-Stars now. We only usually see that in February, one night a year. Not for 37 games.
Clippers:
This is the night the Clippers hope to end their four-game skid, and they know that the entire NBA will be watching this one. How can Marcin Gortat handle DeMarcus Cousins? That matchup has the potential to be an epic disaster. They remain without Luc Mbah a Moute, who they probably wish they could have tonight for his defense. This team has only four reliable scorers. Lou Williams, Gallo, Tobias Harris, and Montrezl Harrell. Two of them come off the bench, while the other two start. Like the Spurs, they only have a few starters that they can count on for buckets. That may make this tough tonight.
Harrell is going to have to dominate off the bench, especially when he’s going against Looney/Jerebko. Mike Scott hasn’t been playing a ton, but if he can go out there and hit a few threes, he could help to swing the game in the Clippers favor. Patrick Beverley and Avery Bradley will be looked to for some lockdown defense tonight on Curry and Klay.
Warriors win in Boogie’s return, extend Clippers skid to five
We’re riding with the Warriors tonight, as their now big-five is a real thing. Curry is going to score 35, while Klay and KD combine for 50 on top of that. These three guys will all go off, and Cousins will finish with around 15 points and 10 boards. Warriors are now 32-14.
