The Cowboys could very easily be 0-2 heading into Sunday’s meeting with Seattle. Down 9 points late against Atlanta on a day where their defense failed them, Dallas scored a TD and recovered a wild onside kick to help fuel a 40-39 win over the Falcons. That victory is in the rear view though as Dallas now faces one of the hottest QBs in the NFL.
Dallas’ 1-point win was very unexpected the way Matt Ryan took Atlanta up and down the field for most of last week’s game. The Cowboys failed to force any turnovers and still got the W, a key win at that with the NFC East off to a rough start overall this season.
Seattle is ecstatic about how their 2020 campaign has begun. Russell Wilson was able to help the Seahawks get the win over New England that was also aided by a last-second stop from the Seattle defense from their own 1-yard line. Wilson has a ridiculous 82.5% completion percentage through two games, showing that he is once again a legitimate candidate for the MVP award

Seattle is a 5-point home favorite and oddsmakers are expecting a high scoring meeting with the over/under way up there at 57.
Dallas Looking for Rhythm
Dak Prescott has had an up and down start to the season and that includes being inconsistent over the course of both games as well. Given Atlanta’s recent track record on defense, the Cowboys should have been able to muster up more than the 10 points they scored in the first half in week two. All is forgiven when your team is able to pull out the win, but against a team like Seattle, that won’t fly.
A lot is made of the Dallas offensive line, which has an argument as the best in the NFL. When Prescott has extra time to throw, Ezekiel Elliott gets more running lanes, and Amari Cooper and the the receivers have more time to get open, the Cowboys look like one of the best offenses in the league. That’s true even through new coach Mike McCarthy’s questionable fourth-down play-calling.
Seahawks Looking to Get to 3-0
Seahawks Nation has to love what they have been seeing so far through two games. New England is still a very good team, so the 35-30 win for the Seahawks last week was a big one. Playing in a division with the reining NFC champion 49ers and a rising Cardinals squad, Seattle needs big wins like last Sunday night – especially at home.
Wilson has forgotten how to throw an incomplete pass through the first two games of 2020. DK Metcalf is proving to be an absolute monster, leading a talented group of receivers with a 23.4 ypc average that is 2nd in the NFL. Seattle is not just Wilson though, as Chris Carson has provided a solid ground attack with 72 yards on 17 carries vs. the Patriots.

The game will start close, but Seattle steps up and dominates the second half.
