In 2019, the Winning Poker Network (WPN) launched a flagship tournament with a better prize pool than you could find on any site available to U.S. players. Over the last two years, the tourney has been a huge success. This year, the Winning Poker Network holds four events on a quarterly basis.
The third rollout of the tourney begins on July 23 and will go up to august 4. This summer edition will occur in conventional poker format. After, there will be Venom Poker Knock-Out, similar to the last Winning Poker Network’s skins.
These matches will occur in various top poker rooms, including Black Chip Poker and Americas Cardroom. These rooms have announced the start of the game on their social media platforms. For example, @ACR_POKER used #UltimateVenom, a few words, and a video to introduce the upcoming contest.
The $2,650 Buy-In Tourney
For the first time since the inception of the Venom Chapter poker by WPN, the prize pool will be an eight-digit. While the operator guarantees a $10 million prize pool, the amount is not far from what they have offered previously.
For example, the operator was rewarded $9,680,000 in August 2020’s tourney. At the beginning of this year, the prize money was set at $8 million but increased to $9,435,000. The upcoming show has $10,000,000 but might be more if the number of entries is over 3800.
If it turns out as it has in the past, the first-place winner will get over $1 million. If we go by the August 2020 payout table, the first winner might get over $1.3 million while the second will also pocket seven-figure earnings.
August 2020’s first winner, going by TRT-Vitor, went home with $1,394,821. The runner-up, Forrestranfar Marty scooped $1,282,666. Before going head to head, the two had a deal to pocket $2.7 million, which was meant for the first two winners.
The Schedule for the 10 Million Guaranteed Venom Chapter
The summer Venom Chapter festivals might have a massive field, especially with the aspect of unlimited re-entry. There will be four starting flights.
Friday, July 23, 2021, marks the first starting flight commonly referred to as Day 1A. Day 1B will follow on July 25. Five days later, Day 1C will roll out, followed by Day 1D on August 1.
August 2 marks the start of Day 2, while Day 3 will occur on August 3. The Final Table will occur on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Each of these matches will start at 10 am Pacific or 1 pm Eastern.
Some of the players scheduled to appear on Day 1 include Vanessa Kade, who is doing great this year at the Americas Cardroom. Ideally, you will be playing alongside Team Pros.
Chris Moneymaker is also expected to appear. It will be a chance to experience this 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event winner show his unmatched skills. Other members in the Americas Cardroom Team Pros and might feature in the Venom include Robert Kuhn, Ebony Kenney, Jon Pardy, Jeff Boski, and Jon Van Fleet.
