The world’s largest online poker rooms, Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker have both set out to break the Guinness Book of World Records record for the largest online poker tournament.
Both World Record Poker Tournaments are scheduled for tonight:
PokerStars’ tournament is scheduled for 14:10 Eastern Time, while Full Tilt Poker’s tournament is scheduled for about an hour later kicks off Today July 19th at 15:05, in celebration of their fifth year in business.
That means that players busting out of the Guinness tournament on Pokerstars, theoretically still have a shot at winning the world’s biggest poker tournament, on Full Tilt Poker… Except for one thing.
Full Tilt’s Drawing Dead in Their Quest for a Guinness World Record
While both poker sites are attempting to hold the world’s largest EVER poker tournament, more than 52,000 people have already registered for Pokerstars tournament. Full Tilt, currently at 47,000 players could catch up, except that the poker site has seriously handicapped itself. In fact, Full Tilt cannot win unless someone changes something.
Currently, the tournament is capped at 50,000 players, meaning Pokerstars has already won!
Pokerstars currently holds the record for the World’s Largest Online Poker Tournament.
Full Tilt Poker players have a shot at winning $45,000 for first place, from a $5 investment, allthough, it’s unlikely that they’ll be winning the World’s Largest Online Poker Tournament, that’s a great ROI!
To enter the Full Tilt Poker tournament, sign up for an account at Full Tilt, click Tournaments in the lobby, and find the tournament with just under fifty thousand people registered to play.
