When looking at what Dallas has done all season, it’s easy to see why the series is currently priced the way that it is. Many believe that they’re going to be able to come away with the win in this series and advance to the Western Conference Finals. The Stars are currently -205 to win the series against the Kraken.

That could be an indication that taking Dallas to win the first game is a good idea. They come in at -175 on the moneyline and +150 on the puck line. The over/under is slotted at just 5.5.

The Seattle Kraken might not be getting enough respect in this series. Not only did they play excellent hockey throughout the regular season, but they then went into Colorado and took down the defending Stanley Cup champions.

There’s a reason why many believe that the Avalanche were the best team in the Western Conference once again, and that’s because of what they did throughout the entire year and last season. The Avalanche simply couldn’t get the job done, and it was a major call for concern.

Instead of saying that it was a concern for the Avalanche, there should be more talk about what the Seattle Kraken were able to do. They played great hockey, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them do that once again in the second round.
