The Florida Panthers will take on the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday for game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Florida was able to win game 3 after going down 2-0 in the series.
With a 3-2 win in overtime in game 3, Florida might feel more confident than Vegas at the moment. With this game being played in Florida, it’s not surprising to see that people are thinking that they’re going to win this game.
That’s backed up by the sportsbooks as they come in at -115 on the moneyline and +215 on the puck line. Although the line is nearly a pick’em on both sides, Florida has proven that they have more than enough to get the job done. This is a similar line compared to game 3, and they were able to come away with the win in that one.
Can Florida Protect Home Ice?
The Florida Panthers continue to prove to everybody that they can win when it matters most. Their backs were up against the wall in game 3, and what they did by winning was impressive. They could have rolled over and allowed Vegas to win this series, but this team is hungry, and they know that they have a chance to win the Stanley Cup.
After their first-round win against the Boston Bruins, it was obvious that Florida was going to be a tough out for anybody that they played. They went into Toronto and then beat Maple Leafs and into Carolina and beat the Hurricanes. This might be their most difficult test yet against the Golden Knights, but as we’ve seen, they have more than enough to get the job done.
Matthew Tkachuk and others are going to truly have to step up in this game. He played well in game 3 as he finished with two points with a goal and an assist. Matthew might need to be a bit more involved in terms of shots on the net, but for now, he did what he needed to do in game 3.
Vegas Looks To Take A Commanding Lead
The Vegas Golden Knights continued to play good hockey in game 3, despite the loss. A 3-2 overtime loss on the road in the Stanley Cup Finals can’t be looked at as a negative. They’re going to come out and try to get this thing back to 3-1 and win in Vegas.
They’ve also beaten some impressive opponents throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs as they took down the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars.
Those two teams were better than Florida throughout the regular season, and many believe that that’s going to stay true in this scenario. Meaning Vegas should have an easier time winning this series than they did in some of their most recent series.
If Jack Eichel, Jonathan Marchessault, and others can play to their best, Vegas will find themselves in a good spot.
Vegas Golden Knights at Florida Panthers Game 4 Betting Preview Prediction
Because this game’s in Florida and the Panthers have proven throughout the playoffs that they can win on the road and in adversity, backing them to win doesn’t seem to be a bad idea in game 4.
