The latest Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) VIII featured 20 players. Each of them eyed the $2,760,000 top prize in the $300,000 Buy-In No-Limit Hold’em event. However, Isaac Haxton was the last player at the table after eliminating all his opponents.
His recent victory made him the third poker pro to win several SHRB titles. He won his first title in 2018 and took home almost $3.7 million.
Haxton informed Natalie Bode from PokerGO that he felt elated after outwitting tough opponents at the final table. Reports indicate that he has over $44.7 million in poker events. Besides, he is the 10th player on the all-time money list.
The poker pro is in great shape this year, as he has reached 20 final tables and cashed over $12.5 million so far. He has won seven titles and increased his lifetime count to 16 totals, including his first World Series of Poker(WSOP) gold bracelet he won in a $25,000 Buy-In Eight Max tournament.
The recent SHRB win earned him 360 Card Player Player of the Year (POY) points and 550 PokerGO Tour (PGT) points. So, he has 8,132 POY points and 2,297 PGT points in total. The event had a $6,000,000 prize pool that the leading four finalists shared.

The Final Day’s Highlights
ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas hosted the three-day event at PokerGO Studio, and its field drastically reduced from 20 to 6 who advanced to Day 3. Bryn Kenney used 3Diamond Suit to put 14 big blinds in preflop while facing Stephen Chidwick’s AClub SuitKHeart Suit. Unfortunately, a king landed on the river and sent Kenney packing in the sixth position.
Chris Brewer’s pocket aces lost to Andrew Lichtenberger’s K-10 suited. The latter used KSpade Suit10Spade Suit to make a button raise, and the former used ADiamond SuitAHeart Suit to place a three-bet from the small blind.
Lichtenberger earned the pot and flush from the KHeart Suit4Spade Suit3Spade SuitASpade Suit7Diamond Suit board and eliminated Brewer in fifth position. Jason Koon used KSpade SuitKClub Suit to raise from the cutoff in four-handed action, and Lichtenberger used JClub Suit10Spade Suit to protect his big blind.
The latter busted the former in fourth place with $600,000. Lichtenberger went all-in and prompted Chidwick to use top pair to call off his remaining chips. Chidwick’s run ended in third place.
Lichtenberger had a 3,220,000:2,780,000 chip advantage over Haxton when their heads-up battle began. The latter used ASpade Suit7Spade Suit to raise 175,000 chips on the button, and the former used KDiamond SuitKClub Suit to place a 500,000 chip three-bet.
Haxton used 10Diamond Suit7Club Suit to make a button shove, while Lichtenberger used 9Diamond Suit3Heart Suit to call-in. 7Heart Suit4Diamond Suit2Spade Suit6Club SuitQClub Suit completed the board and secured the title for Haxton as Lichtenberger finished second with $1,680,000.
