From Phog Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence Kansas, the Jayhawks will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Tuesday. The Cowboys are coming off their first Big 12 win of the season on Saturday. Oklahoma State topped West Virginia 70-66. Overall, the Cowboys are 9-11 on the season and at the bottom of the Big 12 standings.
For Kansas, Bill Self’s team is coming off a loss on Saturday. The Jayhawks lost their third conference game of the season; this time on the road at Iowa State. Kansas is 16-4 on the season.

Cowboys Hope to Win Second Straight
Oklahoma State snapped their six game losing streak with a 70-66 win over West Virginia. The losing streak saw games against Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and TCU. In the win on Saturday, Javon Small hit a game winning three with less than a minute to go. It was the first Big 12 win of the season for the Cowboys.
Small is leading the charge for the Cowboys. He is scoring 13.9 points per game and dishing out 4.8 assists per game. The Cowboys are scoring 71.8 points per game, while allowing opponents to score 69.5 per game.
Oklahoma State will host Kansas State after this game, and then go on the road for back to back tough games. The Cowboys are at Houston on February 6th and on the road at Oklahoma on the 10th.
Road Woes for Jayhawks
Bill Self and his Kansas Jayhawks have yet to figure out life on the road in the Big 12. After losses to Central Florida, West Virginia and Iowa State, they are tied for fourth in the league standings. The Jayhawks have back to back home games, as they will host Houston on February 3rd, before heading to Kansas State.
Kansas is getting nearly nothing off their bench. Kevin McCullar, Hunter Dickinson, K.J. Adams and Dajuan Harris are doing nearly all the damage. McCullar leads the team with just shy of 20 points per game. The big man, Dickinson is scoring 18.9 points per game, and also ripping down 11.3 rebounds per game.
The Jayhawks are scoring 79 points per game, and allowing opponents to score 68.3 per game. Kansas has been one of the most unselfish teams in all of College Basketball, dishing out 20.7 assists per game.
Jayhawks sweep Cowboys
