Cleveland will finish their mini road trip in San Antonio on Saturday. After that, the Cavaliers will host the Kings on Monday, before going back on the road for three more. They will visit the Wizards, Nets and Raptors before hosting Philadelphia on February 12th.
Jackson Leading Banged up Memphis Squad
Memphis is led in scoring by Jaren Jackson Jr. The big man has been terrific for the Grizzlies, with 21.9 points per game, 5.6 rebounds and 2 assists. Jackson has missed just two games for Memphis this season.
Ja Morant played just nine games for Memphis this season, and Desmond Bane has missed the last 10. Those two guys combined for nearly 50 points per game when on the court. Another guy that has missed time has been Marcus Smart. In 47 games, he has played just 20. In the recent loss to Sacramento, the Grizzlies saw six guys score double digits with Jackson leading the way with 22. Santi Aldama scored 16 as well.
Memphis is at home against Golden State on Friday. Following that, the Grizzlies will go on the road for back to back games. Memphis will head to Boston and New York, before coming back home to host the Bulls.
Cavaliers Stay Hot over Grizzlies
This should be an interesting game. The Grizzlies show that they can play hard when push comes to shove. But, in the end, they just have too many injuries to impact guys. The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team that continues to come at you, and that is going to be the case in this game.
