Cavaliers 2 Seed in the East
A recent two game losing streak was a little blip on the map for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers won their first six games of February, and have lost just five times since the calendar turned to 2024. The 114-105 win at the Wizards was nice to get the losing monkey off their back.
The leaders for the Clippers have been Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley. Mitchell is scoring 28.1 points per game. Garland and Mitchell are tied for the team lead with 6.2 assists per game. Mobley has been strong in the pain with 15.7 points and 10 rebounds per game.
Cleveland will remain on the road after this game; to Detroit for a Friday affair. After that, the Cavaliers will head back home and see the Knicks and Celtics come to town.
Bulls Looking to Add to Wins
The Bulls had lost back to back games and three out of four before going to New Orleans and taking down the Pelicans. The win was on the defensive side, as they allowed just 106 points in the game. Chicago is now 4-4 in February.
DeMar DeRozan leads the Bulls in scoring with more than 22 points per game. The loss of Zach LaVine has hurt, but has helped the growth of Coby White. White, the point guard that played at North Carolina is having a career season, scoring more than 19 points per game, and dishing out 5.2 assists.
The Bulls will remain at home for one more after this. Chicago will welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to town on Friday. After that, the Bulls will head out for a four game road trip out West. Chicago will start in Sacramento, and make stops in Utah, Golden State and Los Angeles, to face the Clippers.
Cleveland Tops Chicago
The Cleveland Cavaliers are playing a new level of basketball right now. They are tough, and shoot the basketball well. They are playing solid defense, and this looks like a team that is serious about contending for the Eastern Conference title. In this game, they go on the road, and they show their toughness.
Never easy to win on the road, but they do it. Cleveland wins this game over the Bulls. Our final bet for this game is the Cleveland Cavaliers -4 over the Chicago Bulls.
