Nikola Jokic continued to be sensational for the Nuggets, but it was not enough. The big man, who led his Nuggets to the NBA title a season ago scored 32 points in the game. Jokic also recorded 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The big man was 8 for 8 from the free throw line. Jokic is the frontrunner to win the regular season MVP.
Aaron Gordon needs to produce more for the Nuggets. He had just 9 points in the loss. Denver in their two losses so far in the postseason are scoring just 104.5 points per game. In the four wins, the Nuggets are scoring 109 points per game.
During the regular season the Denver Nuggets scored 114.9 points per game. Denver was fourth in the league in field goal percentage, as he made just shy of 50%. The Nuggets made 37.4% from the field on the season, and ripped down 44.4 rebounds per game.
