Rush Street Interactive is a massive name in the world of iGaming, and the BetRivers brand is most closely associated with that company. BetRivers not only has a terrific online sportsbook, but it has also created a great online casino app as well.

Rush Street and BetRivers Casino just announced another new partner as it will be teaming up with PDX Slots to bring some new flavor to the growing industry. PDX Slots is an online casino content aggregator, and it will get its launch in the state of Michigan soon.

This was a long time coming for PDX Slots as it was awarded a Provisional Internet Gaming Supplier license from the Michigan Gaming Control Board in October 2024. It has been looking for a partner since that time and Rush Street stepped up to make this happen.

Both companies have already commented on the new partnership, and it’s clear that the companies have a similar thought in mind. With so much competition in the online casino industry in Michigan, BetRivers is hoping that PDX Slots allows it to gain some ground when it comes to online market share.

PDX Slots Not Stopping

Now that PDX Slots has found a way into the state of Michigan, there are other markets that it will be targeting as well. Ontario, Canada is likely going to be the next step for this company, but it also plans to find a way into the state of New Jersey.

Ontario is an underrated online casino market, but it’s also one that has seen significant growth over the last few years. New Jersey is right with Michigan when it comes to the biggest online casino markets in the country.

There are a number of things that PDX Slots does that are attractive to online casino operators, and it’s expected to find a partner pretty easy. It offers commercialization strategies that aid those online casino operators, and it has proven to be successful in the past.

Since this is such a competitive industry, every operator is looking to find any edge that it can over the others in the country.

RSI Not Slowing Down

This new partnership comes on the heels of RSI announcing a partnership with Evolution Gaming, and that led to the launch of many new games. RSI posted some terrific revenue numbers during the first quarter of 2024, and that was a goal heading into the year.

It was a 34% increase by RSI in terms of revenue, and that could lead to even bigger numbers moving forward. While this new partnership will help launch new games in the state, it’s also going to allow RSI to focus on social gaming on the BetRivers online casino as well.

This deal will also see the Remote Gaming Server coming to the state of Michigan, and this will allow BetRivers to offer a new feature that hasn’t been seen before. PDX Slots is going to gain some much needed exposure that should allow the company to seek other deals.
