Vanessa Rousso is a poker pro who likes to share her knowledge of the game. The Team PokerStars Pro hosts a poker camp to teach players how to play the game as well as give her insight and knowledge on the subject of poker. The poker pro will be heading to New Hampshire to host the boot camp on April.
The poker camp is called Big Slick Boot Camp and it will take place at the Granite State Poker Club on April 5th. The camp will last six hours and will be an instructional experience. Players who want to learn more about the game and hone their skills should definitely attend. The cost of the camp is $299.
Vanessa Rousso is a driving force it the poker community as she has earned over $2.3 million in live tournament winnings and currently sits in the fourth spot on the Women’s all time money list. Rousso came into the poker industry in 2006 when she made a World Series of Poker Circuit event. At the time she was the youngest woman ever to make a circuit event final table.
She also had another victory in the world of women’s poker when she made it to the final two at the NBC Heads Up event in 2009. This was the first time a woman was one of the final two players in the event.
In the camp, Rousso teaches players to learn high-level poker strategy and game theory. This is all taught in an interactive learning environment by holding simulations and educational sessions. Rousso commented on the boot camp by stating:
