Day 4 of the 2008 Aussie Millions in the Crown Casino Melbourne started with 22 players out of the original 780 poker players who began this event. By the end of this day only 7 will remain to battle it out for the title.
As the day progressed it would be Michael Chrisanthopoulos who began amassing a huge chip lead, eliminating Hiroshi Shimamura and his pocket tens with AJ and a flopped ace and eliminating Robert Holster and his pocket kings with AK and another flopped ace. He wasn’t done though as he also sent Robert Akery to the rail in ninth place and busted Nico Behling in eighth place making his final table appearance and inevitability.
’06 WSOP bracelet winner Max Pescatori, nicknamed ‘The Italian Pirate’ for his Italian flag bandana, was having a great tournament and was a main stay on the leader board until he got in a hand with Antonio Casale that sent him home in 10th place.
Michael Chrisanthopoulos has a commanding chip lead with only 7 players left.
