Just a few days ago we reported that the Nevada Gaming Control board was going to be reviewing applications submitted by gaming companies to receive an interactive gaming license in the state. the Nevada Gaming Control Board would then send their recommendations to the Gaming Commission and it has now been announced that Bally Technologies is the first company to receive a recommendation from the Control Board.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board met yesterday and they voted unanimously to recommend Bally Technologies for a license to be an interactive gaming system manufacturer as well as service provider. The company will now have the ability to provide business to business iGaming solutions for casino operators in the state of Nevada. This option includes online poker wagering.

The state of Nevada is the first in the United States to pass a statute which will allow interactive gaming and they are also the first state to adopt online gaming regulations. The Nevada Gaming Commission will be reviewing the recommendation made by the Nevada Gaming Control Board on June 21st at a meeting. This is when the final decision will be made. By this date, Bally Technologies will know if they are approved for full licensing.
