Sports Legends Challenge Postponed to 2010

The Sports Legends Challenge was set to begin on the 14th of September and continue to the 17th at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Several poker pros and sports legends were set to arrive in the Bahamas and compete in the challenge along with online qualifiers and those who paid the high ticket price to attend the event. Organizers have now decided to reschedule the event and sent out an email announcing the rescheduling to registered players on the 1st of September.

Dermot Blain Wins APPT Macau Main Event

The PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Macau main event has ended and it was Dermot Blain who outlasted the 429 player field to take the first place win. The $5,000 no limit holdÃ¢â‚¬â„¢em tournament saw nine players return for final table play and with just over $2 million in prize money, the players were ready to fight for the top finish.

More Pros Added To Caesars Cup Teams

Daniel Negreanu and Annette Obrestad have been working hard to create the eight person teams for the inaugural Caesars Cup which is coming up in September. Negreanu recently added poker legend Doyle Brunson and Jennifer Harmon to his team while Obrestad added Patrik Antonius and Ilari Sahamies to the European team.
