The RunGood Poker Series has announced another new event, and that is a theme that has been consistent all year long. Live poker players just recently competed in Council Bluffs, and there is currently an event taking place down in St. Louis.
The RunGood Poker Series isn’t going to travel far for the next event as it just recently announced that it will be coming to the Harrah’s Casino in Kansas City. All of that action is going to take place from May 15-19, and there are many different tournaments that will be taking place.
As with other events on the RGPS, there will be tournaments scheduled for poker players of many different levels. There is a Main Event scheduled, but the other events will give other players a chance to cash in with a win.
Looking back at past years can give you a good idea of what to expect in 2024, but every year will provide some new excitement. There is no doubt that the RunGood Poker Series has become a big name on the live poker scene, and there will be some great action in Kansas City.
Schedule is Loaded
Not only did this announcement from the RunGood Poker Series highlight the next location, but the entire schedule was announced as well. There will be many different forms of poker played throughout the series, and everything will culminate with the Main Event.
Action will begin with the Series Ring Event on May 14th, and the Series Opener Ring Event is going to follow. There are so many different forms of poker set to be played in this event that it’s hard to keep track of what is going on.
The first Main Event Satellite Event will be held on May 16th and that will give players from around the state a chance to qualify for a spot in the tournament. Those tournaments are usually flooded with competitors that are willing to pay the small buy-in in order to be included.
Main Event action in Kansas City is going to begin on May 17th, and there will be a couple of different flights that will be taking place. That will allow the action to continue at a fast pace and should keep things moving on a good schedule.
For those that want to get in on the smaller events, they are going to be sprinkled in throughout the schedule in Kansas City.
Looking Back
The RunGood Poker series has made other stops in Kansas City, and it was here a year ago for some great action. While a number of players were able to cash in, it was the Main Event that produced the greatest action.
William McCracken came away with the top prize at the Main Event as he was able to bring home $83,099. Eddie Northcraft also enjoyed some success at the Main Event as he walked away with over $55,000.
Those top competitors from a year ago are expected to be in the mix to come up with some big wins in 2024 as well.
