The Miami Heat will look to stay alive in the best of 7 series on Wednesday, as they take on the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics lead the series 3-1, with back to back wins on the road at Miami. This is Game 5, and if the Celtics win, they will head to the second round of the postseason.

The Miami Heat are the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. Miami lost in the play-in round to Philadelphia, but then later beat the Chicago Bulls. The Heat went 46-38 on the season. Miami is playing without their top scorer Jimmy Butler.

For the Boston Celtics, they were the top seed in the Eastern Conference all season. The Boston Celtics went 64-18 and ran away with the top of the conference. The Celtics won their final two regular season games, and only lost in Game 2 in this series.

The Celtics are -13.5 at home in this game.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat saw Bam Adebayo score 26 points and rip down 17 rebounds, but the Heat had a tough time keeping pace. Just two other guys scored double digits for the Heat. Tyler Herro had 19 points, while Caleb Martin added 18.

The Heat are missing Jimmy Butler. The Eastern Conference Finals MVP a season ago got hurt in the loss at Philadelphia after 39 minutes, and will likely not return this postseason. He scored just shy of 21 points per game in the regular season.

The injury came for a team that was already lacking offensively. The Heat ranked 26th out of 30 teams in the National Basketball Association in scoring. Miami has been good at the free throw line, but in the postseason they are not getting there enough.

Boston Celtics

In the game four win over the Heat, the Celtics saw five guys score double figures in the game. The big scorers were topped by Derrick White. White scored a season high 38 points in the game. White is the first off the bench, but got some additional playing time with the injury to Kristaps Porzingis.

Porzingis is doubtful to play in this game for Boston. The big man has a calf injury, and will look to return later in the postseason. Top scorer Jayson Tatum scored 20 in the game, and has scored 20+ in each game of this series. On the season, he was just shy of 27 per game.

Boston, with a win, will move to the second round. The Celtics would be the host for the next series. They would play the winner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic. That series has the potential to go seven games, so this could be a good resting period with a Boston win.

Boston Eliminates Miami

The Boston Celtics are ready to finish this series off. The Miami Heat beat them a season ago in the Eastern Conference Finals. That does not sit well with the Celtics. Look for Boston to use that frustration and smack the Heat all over the court.

Boston wins this game by nearly 20 points on Wednesday. Our final betting pick for this game is the Boston Celtics -13.5 over the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Enjoy the game and best of luck!
