BetMGM Casino and Borgata Casino announced on May 24, 2021, that Red Tiger is launching a set of new games in Pennsylvania. Red Tiger is a supplier for online games in various jurisdictions. The brand is listed as one of the best game developers globally for creating innovative, top-quality games.
Red Tiger started fulfilling its part of the deal with Borgata Casino and BetMGM Casino by deploying three games from its rich portfolio. In fact, the brand rolled out the most popular slots and megaways titles, including Cash Volt, Wings of Ra, and Gonzo’s Quest Megaways. Red Tiger is expected to release more games in the coming weeks.
The BetMGM Vice President of gaming, Matthew Sunderland, recognized Red Tiger as a brand that delivers top-quality games to licensed markets in the world. He added that he was delighted that the brand would begin providing popular titles to the casino’s world-class games portfolio.
Red Tiger entered the keystone state in November 2020. It partnered with Rush Street Interactive (RSI) and started by launching three titles as it did with its new partners. These games were accessible from RSI’s platforms, namely PlaySugarHouse.com and BetRivers.com.
The launch of casino games at BetMGM and Borgata casinos comes shortly after slots and live casino games were also added to the platforms. NetEnt provided these through the Evolution Gaming platform across several states in the US.
Red Tiger Operates Under Evolution Gaming Umbrella
Evolution Gaming is a gaming company that produces, markets, and licenses casinos to offer its games. The company has been making big business decisions, acquiring various brand which is now operating under its umbrella.
One of the other gaming developers that Evolution has acquired is NetEnt AB. The deal was initiated in summer 2020 but could only complete after the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the UK approved the agreement. It was a £1.68 billion deal.
Months earlier, NetEnt bought Red Tiger Gaming in a cash deal of £220 million. This happened in September 2019, intending to make a better footing in the gambling industry.
Commercial Director of Evolution Gaming in North America, Jeff Millar, said that the brand was excited to see Red Tiger begin work with BetMGM. He added that the company was looking forward to expanding its partnership with casinos. Jeff noted that Red Tiger is still producing successful games and believed players would love to play their titles.
Reasons for Expansion
Following another month of admirable performance in online casino games in the state, Red Tiger decided to extend their services to two more casinos. The growth for online casino games is incredible, contrary to sports betting performance which has been deteriorating since February 2021. The deterioration was confirmed in April.
Ideally, online casino wagers in Pennsylvania increased from $1.4 billion to $3.2 billion. This was a 128 percent increase from March to April. The state taxes also increased to $25.5 million and $13.1 million in local share assessments and county grants.
Earlier this year, Evolution Gaming inked a new deal with The Cordish Gaming Group. The brand offers its live casino products, including first-person RNG-based games, to Cordish’s platform PlayLive! in Keystone State.
