The New Jersey State Gaming Enforcement Division is ready to expedite the online gambling process in the state and to move things along. Officials are asking casinos to procure online gambling deals by June 30th.The state will not begin officially offering gambling options online until late November but the casinos are expected to have their online partners by the end of the month.
Casinos have only until the end of the month to create these partnerships so that the regulators of the state have time to be able to examine the background as well as the qualifications of each company that will be working with Atlantic City casinos. The regulators especially want to investigate foreign companies that will be operating in the state, which would include Bwin.Party, who will be working with the Borgata Casino.
Caesars Entertainment owns four casinos in the state and will be working with 888 Holdings for their online gaming services while other companies like Trump Entertainment Resorts, who owns two properties, are still searching for partners. This is the only known information about who certain casinos in the state will be working with. Other casinos have yet to comment on who they will be using for their online gaming options.
The Gaming Enforcement Division is being very strict as to the steps needed to be ready for online games operation. The officials of the division have stated that casinos who do not meet this deadline will not be guaranteed that they will still be able to offer online gambling when the first day of operation is made available.
The state of New Jersey has also set a date for applications to be turned in, which is July 29th. The state is steadily getting to the point where they will have online options available, slowly but surely.
