888poker Finally Decides To Roll Out Its 8 Software to US Betting Markets

888poker

As 888poker has been rolling out its poker 8 software, it has left United States markets out of the picture. But, with recent revenue reports, the brand has decided to launch online poker in Michigan and Pennsylvania by the end of June 2021.

The two jurisdictions will use the poker 8 software. 888poker has rolled out the new software across its global market for the last 18 months. Yet, it did not introduce the software to its only United States market, New Jersey.

Even with the recent revenue report, 888Poker seems to leave New Jersey at the bottom of the list. As with its partner WSOP with Nevada.

The New Poker 8 Software

In the yet to be launched poker client, the interface will be a modern version of the current WSOP.com in Delaware, Nevada, and New Jersey. The tournament lobby will be a new version as compared to the current. For a start, there will be a filter bar located at the top.

This will allow players to filter games leaving only those they want on the tournament list. Also, players will choose to sort columns in the tournament list for better game targeting and other conveniences.

Another change is the game lobby. The new version will feature massive filter buttons for various elements, including game type, stakes, poker games, and table size. These buttons will allow players to create a game lobby depending on their preferences or what they want to play.

Even novice players are well thought of. They will select their specific lobby, beginner area, on the left side of the interface, allowing them to locate games that suit them more efficiently.

The new poker client will transition WSOP.com from its current form to a modern world. Yet, it is evident the existing version is still functional as it has been there for a long time. But, other operators are upgrading their clients to fit the modern era.

The new changes will not only make the poker client appealing but also promote quick access to games. Compared to the existing version, the new client is quicker, without hitches, and functioning more efficiently. It even allows players to move from one game to another better.

While there is little leakage of the new client for the U.S. market, features on the global version indicate players will have an opportunity to play even four tables simultaneously. By comparing the current client in the New Jersey market and several leaked peaks of the new, the upgrade is evident.

June is not far away, and some U.S. markets will clear possible questions. By the end of the year, more U.S.-based players will have an experience with the new client. Users’ experience of WSOP.com and 888poker will significantly change for the better.

WSOP and 888poker Still Have a Better Chance to Grow

WSOP.com and 888poker are the last poker operators to expand beyond Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey. But, they are still in a better position considering they have shared liquidity across state lines.

PokerStars and partypoker U.S. Network run segregated poker rooms. WSOP.com, which is in partnership with 888poker, can host players across state lines. After a few years of standing by, WSOP.com and 888poker will finally expand and upgrade.
