The last two days felt like groundhog day scenario for Ali Imsirovic who managed to win two events in 48 hours. This time, the name of the event was Poker Masters Event 6: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em and he managed to win a total of $799,000 by defeating his heads-up opponent Koray Aldemir who won $517,000.

This victory was the largest one that Imsirovic has had so far in his career. In fact, he managed to earn a total of $1.2 in just two days during the Poker Masters tournament. The victory also brought him another 300 points in the Poker Masters leaderboard and he emerged at the first position, sitting there comfortable and currently being the favorite to wear the purple jacket.
Imsirovic could not help hiding his enthusiasm and stated that he was really happy to have won two events in a row. However, he added that the main event was yet to come and that there was no time for partying – he would save it for after the whole Poker Masters tournament concludes.
Imsirovic entered the final table with having more than half of the chips that were in play and Justin Bonomo was the first victim of his. Bonomo hit the rail as the sixth-placed player and took home a nice sum of $141,000. The next one was Sam Soverel who ended up fifth. He went all in with the ace-king, only to find out that Imsirovic had pocket queens. Soverel won a total of $188,000
The fourth place was taken by Jake Schindler with the sum of $235,000, and the third place was reserved for Seth Davies who won $352,000. This was the event with the highest buy-in and the highest prizes so far on the Poker Masters 2018 Tournament.
The heads-up play actually started really well for Aldemir who took the chip lead in no time. At one moment, it looked like the fortunate stars have left Imsirovic, but not for long. Imsirovic regained the chip lead and the whole heads-up turned into the exchange of the chip lead. They played almost a hundred hands before Imsirovic eventually emerged a winner.
When you take a look at the race for the Purple Jacket, it has become crystal clear that only five players are eligible for it. Imsirovic is naturally the first favorite, but Brandon Adams, Isaac Haxton, Jake Schindler, and Ben Yu all seem to have a shot at the main event.
The buy-in for the main event will be $100,000 and anyone who wins it will have a huge prize. If the winner is one of these five players, they will most likely secure the top place at the 2018 Poker Masters ranking. Stay tuned to see who will be the winner of this extraordinary tournament.
