Full Tilt Claims Administrator, the Garden City Group, has slowly but surely began to prepare for the repayment of Full Tilt Poker funds to United States players. Some time ago, players began filling out a petition to file for a claim of funds and the GCG has now updated their site with new information. The bank testing process has now begun and players should expect to see zero transactions as part of the testing phase.
The Garden City Group placed a notice on the Full Tilt Poker Claims site yesterday that was specifically for petitioners who were able to timely confirm the Full Tilt Poker account balance. The notice stated that the GCG was currently in the process of preparing payments for petitioners who were able to file a claim and confirm in a certain period of time.
Starting yesterday, these petitioners would start to notice a zero dollar transaction in the appropriate bank account related to Full Tilt Poker Claims. This zero dollar transaction is the standard procedure during the bank testing process to prepare for the payment of ACHs. The Garden City Group stressed that not every financial institution will use this notice during the testing phase so petitioners should not be worried if a notice is not received on a bank statement.
It was in January that the Garden City Group announced that the first round of payments would begin by the end of February and it seems as though this process is gaining ground. Payments for pros are still a work in progress and more information on this subject should be released in the near future. For now, the Garden City Group suggests former FTP players be aware of the zero transactions and if anyone believes they have a claim at Full Tilt, they should file a petition at the claiming site set up by the claims administrator.
