After losing Americas Cardroom and the Winning Poker Network just over a week ago, Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey residents are now learning that the Equity Poker Network is shutting down real money games to players in these states as well. Full Flush Poker, the flagship site of the network, will no longer be offering real money game play to anyone located in the states involved with a regulated poker market in the US. This is the second real money gaming site in the US to shut down in these three states in just under two weeks.
The EPN sites the same reasons as the Winning Poker Network for shutting down services to those located in the three states. A general notice was posted at the official website for Full Flush Poker, according to Pokerfuse, which reads that the site operates with players in mind and that fair play is paramount. With their principles in mind, the EPN has decided to top offering the recreational poker site real money gaming to those players who are located in New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware due to the ‘availability of a regulated poker market in those states’.
A spokesperson for the site stated that the action was taken to provide the vast majority of customers that are not located in states with regulation have access to Full Flush Poker and enjoy competing without disruption or inconvenience.
With the change effective immediately, as of yesterday, any players located in New Jersey, Nevada or Delaware will receive an email with information on the policy change as well as confirmation that accounts are not active any longer. The online poker site is said to be allowing those affected to access accounts to arrange for cash outs and then return any funds that remain in a quick manner.
