The competition is getting heated as some of the greatest names in poker are part of this narrowing field of players. All the players from the beginning of day 3 are ‘in the money’ as they will cash starting at 10 (500 Euro) and the pay out continues to increase until the winner brings home one of the largest pots in EPT history of 1.17 million Euro.
When day 3 began play at 5pm tonight Martin Wendt, Dag Martin Mikklesen, Ian Woodley, Phil Starrs, Sylvester Geoghegan, Fabrice Soulier, Michael Greco, Mark Vos and Bjorne Erik Glenne were still in the race. Of special note Katja Thater, the second woman to win a WSOP Open Tournament Bracelet also had a good foothold in the competition.
The chosen ‘TV’ table footage is available live at the EPT website through out the tournament. Tomorrow will begin the final day, with the entire final table being aired as it happens online at www.EPTLive.com. The avid poker fan can’t miss this great competition, and introduction to the Spanish poker arena.
