The first round of Full Tilt Poker remission payments took place on February 28th of this year and yesterday the Garden City Group announced the second round of payments has also begun. On the 1st of April, 2,200 payments were sent out for a total of $5 million in repayments distributed to players in the US who were former members of Full Tilt Poker.
The round of payments sent out yesterday were part of the players who had been approved for payment previously but the banking information the Garden City Group had on file was not correct. Players were to respond with the proper information by the 13th of March and those that did so were sent out payments yesterday.
Any player whose information was not correct and did not update their account in time would be mailed a check for the amount owed. The check would be sent to the address the Garden City Group had on file for the players in question.
The payment update at the Full Tilt Poker Claims site spoke about the second round of payments as well as added a reminder. Players who received a notice of debt that qualifies for collection via the Treasury Offset Program will need to send a completed Unified Financial Management System Vendor Request Form to the Garden City Group as soon as possible.
As for affiliates of the site, a date has yet to be announced for reimbursements. Pros of the site have also yet to hear if their status will make them eligible for a remission payment. However, it is expected that the Garden City Group will move on to these players once the standard members of Full Tilt Poker are taken care of. Players can keep track of updates and information released by the Garden City Group by visiting the Full Tilt Poker Claims Site.
