Danish Poker player Peter Jepsen, a 24 year old Iraq War Veteran, has inked a sponsorship deal with Full Tilt Poker. This 24 year old former soldier won $325,633 at The 2007 European Poker Tour (EPT) Polish Open in Warsaw and took up poker after being seriously injured in Iraq.
Although Jepsen will not be part of Team Full Tilt, he is still a Full Tilt Poker Pro. He represented the online poker site at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Spanish Championship in Barcelona.
In an interview to the Danish Newspaper Ekstrabladet he said, “I’ve been playing a lot of Full Tilt Poker and tried some of the biggest games. It’s only natural that someone will notice that in one way or other, especially considering that I’ve been doing well in live tournaments as well.”
Howard ‘The Professor’ Lederer, a seasoned Team Full Tilt Player commented, “With an EPT victory and a successful high stakes poker record, Peter will be a perfect addition to the Full Tilt family.”
Characterized as a tight-aggressive player, Jepsen will have a great sense of pride when he goes back to Denmark and he had said he’s very glad and really proud to be part of Full Tilt.
