Garden City Group Announces Former FTP Affiliates Allowed to File Claims

Full Tilt PokerThe Garden City Group was hired many months ago as the claims administrator for the Full Tilt Poker remission process in the United States. The process has been slow going but over the past few weeks, players have been able to begin filing claims for repayment. An announcement sent out by Garden City Group weeks ago stated that former US affiliates of the site would not be able to participate in the remission process. However, last Friday, the GCG updated the Full Tilt Poker Claims sites with a notice for all affiliates.

The notice stated that the GCGT has determined that affiliates of Full Tilt Poker will now be able to submit a petition for remission. This petition will need to be filed to try and recover ‘the portion of their account balances that does not relate to their affiliate status.’ Affiliate accounts at FTP were flagged because the player signed up at the site as an affiliate.

Anyone who has an affiliate account can submit a petition for the amount of their poker account that is related to poker transactions, if the eligibility criteria is met. Full Tilt Poker is currently sending GCG updated data that is based on the affiliate accounts. The GCG will be revising the information and then emails will be sent out to affiliates with instructions for the petition process with login credentials for beginning the online filing process.

After the email is sent, affiliates will have a thirty day time frame to submit a petition. The statement goes on to say that the affiliate filing process will not mean a delay for other petitions. The Full Tilt Poker Claims site also added more information to their FAQ section to help with the process. The full statement can be read here at the GCG site for Full Tilt Poker Claims.
