By the end of this month, former players of Full Tilt Poker in the United States will have their long awaited poker funds. The claims administrator working on the repayment process, The Garden City Group, has now announced that the next wave of payments will take place by the end of September and total $2 million.
The Full Tilt Poker Claims site has been the source of information for former US members of Full Tilt and updates continue to roll in so players have an idea as to what they need to do for the claims process as well as what is taking place next. The official website of the repayment process has now announced that around 600 players will be earning payment after confirming their FTP account balances.
The Garden City Group will do as they have done before and does a test run to make sure the bank account information given is valid. This means a player expecting payment would see a zero dollar transaction before the actual funds are placed into the account. This is just to ensure the viability of the gamers account.
The Garden City Group also covered the players who may have debts that are past due. These players will see a reduction in the amount of reimbursement in their bank account. The reduction is put in place to settle any debt with the Treasury Offset Program. Any player with a reduction will be sent a form that will need to be filled out to be able to facilitate the process of payment.
Players had until the 3rd of September to file a claim at the Full Tilt Poker Claims site. The website has now shut down the claim submission section and only remains open with player information on the remission process. The updates continue and players can scroll through to read past updates and information as well.
