Back in August, the Garden City Group announced that the Full Tilt Poker remission process would begin for former US members of the site on September 16th. Today is now the 18th and a new update has been issued by the Claims Administrator. The Garden City Group has issued a new update in regards to the remission process and what players need to do to receive their funds.
The site for the Garden City Group states that beginning on the 16th, email notices were handed out to potential eligible victims of FTP. These email notices would go out to those who were identified by GCG using data given by Full Tilt Poker. The Claims Administrator believes the notices should have all gone out by yesterday. In the notice, players were given instructions on how to file a petition online for remission via the official Full Tilt Poker claims website.
Those who did not receive an email notice but believe they should have, are being asked to file a new petition online. The new petition will be filed with an online tab that is located on the left sidebar of the Garden City Group website for the FTP filing process. The online filing tab is available as of today on the FullTiltPokerclaims.com website. Former players who believe they have a claim need to visit the site and file a claim.
After clicking the tab, players will need to log in and input their information to be considered for a claim. The site also has a Frequent Asked Questions section to help players better understand the process from calculation formulas to how to find out the balance of an account, etc.
Even if players have been sent a notice from the company, a remission filing can also be completed. Hopefully now that the ‘official’ date has finally arrived, players will be able to start earning back the funds that are rightfully theirs.
