Isaac Haxton is the fourth player in GGPoker history to win the Super MILLION$ more than twice since the tournament was launched. He joins Michael Addamo, Niklas Astedt and Artur Martirosian in the club. But, Addamo finished this week’s episode in fourth place while seeking his sixth title.
Super MILLION$ Season 2 Episode 34 Final Table
This week’s final table play started on March 15 at 6:00 pm, but it didn’t take long before the finalists started exiting the event. Elio Fox had 6.9 bug blinds when the action started, and he finished the event in ninth place. He raised his tack to 10 big blinds after he used a king-jack of clubs from beneath the gun to open-shove.
Unfortunately, Haxton raised with the ace-queen of clubs in his big blind that he used to make an easy call. Fox and Haxton picked a flush by the river. However, Haxton had a nut flush.
spaise411 from Russia fell ten minutes later at Haxton’s hands. Haxton began the preflop gambling by raising to 125,000 from a cutoff. Then, he called while spaise411 placed an all-in three-bet for 324,232.
The Russian had a king-queen of spades while Haxton had an ace-eight. Haxton picked a pair of eight on the river.
Matas “NoWeyyy” Cikinas exited the tournament in position seven with a five-figure cash prize. He left the tournament after open-shoving for 892,738 from a small blind with an ace-jack.
Sung Joo “ArtePokerTV” Hyun, a Super MILLION$ winner, used pocket jacks to snap-call in the big blind. Cikinas didn’t get any out on the river or turn despite flopping a gutshot straight draw.
Nikita “VSMPZD” Kuznetsov was in sixth place with $100,596. Hyun ended up having an ace-ten after limping in on the button. He later called, and Kuznetsov moved all-in with 11 big blinds using a queen-jack from the big blind.
Kuznetsov used a jack to flop, and Hyun paired an ace. His hand was true until another player left the final table.
Mark Radoja eliminated by Tyler “TheRayGuy” Cornell
Mark Radoja has waited for a long time to be a Super MILLION$ winner. Unfortunately, he will continue waiting as Tyler “TheRayGuy” Cornell eliminated him while he was fifth. Cornell open-shoved using five-four of diamonds when he was in the small blind.
Radoja used an ace-trey of clubs to call in when he nursed a 7.5 big blind stack. But, a four on the flop ended his deep run.
Michael Addamo was the chip leader at the start of the day and was the next player to exit the event. Haxton open-shoved from a small blind for 17 big blinds while Addamo showed king-jack after calling. Haxton mustered a nine-eight and spiked a nine on the turn that eliminated Addamo.
Hyun lost ground to two opponents in the three-handed play. This included a large pot after he made a straight on the river and ran into Cornell’s turned straight. He played the final hand while having 7.5 big blinds only.
Haxton raised up to 200,000 using ten-nine, and Hyun used ten-nine to call in a big blind. Haxton then shoved, and Hyun had to check call-in after an eight-high all-diamond flop.
Haxton went heads-up against Cornell, having a three-to-one chip advantage. His hands were on Cornell’s chips, and he raised to 288,000 after calling. Cornell made a 1,044,000 three-bet and led on a jack-queen flop with two spades for 571,860.
