In late 2012, Phil Ivey announced he had a project in the works titled IveyPoker. The new project would see the poker pro launching a new website, IveyPoker.com. This new website would teach people how to play the game of poker by what Ivey is calling, the ‘right way’. Ivey has worked hard to build his teaching site, constantly adding top pros to the site and now Ivey has purchased an online poker room to begin the Ivey League.
It was announced just yesterday that IveyPoker has purchased LeggoPoker to begin the Ivey League. The announcement of the purchase read:

The acquisition of LeggoPoker will serve as the foundation for a new IveyPoker product offering called Ivey League — a subscription-based poker teaching site featuring training videos and content from Team Ivey, a network of the world’s best professional poker players.
Building off of LeggoPoker’s well-established and reputable poker training site, Ivey League will be the most effective way to improve one’s poker game by offering detailed, individualized instruction from world-class coaches who are invested in making better poker players. LeggoPoker’s team of highly-skilled instructors, including Aaron Jones, Dan Smith and Andrew Lichtenberger, will expand to include members of Team Ivey.

The IveyPoker site has yet to launch but Ivey continues to build a large pro base so players will have many different personalities and gaming styles to learn from.
