Saturday was an exciting day for online poker players, as WSOP.com hosted the eighth event that was part of the popular WSOP.com Online Super Circuit Series. This is an event available to all players who are located within the borders of Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware.
The event is a part of an 18-ring online series, and its full name is Event #8: $75,000 GTD NLH Double Stack 2x Re-Entry. The price players had to pay to become part of the event was $320.
Moreover, they were all allowed up to two re-entries, meaning the total number of registered players was 569, but there were 257 rebuys, resulting in a total of 826 entries. With so many players, the prize pool almost tripled, being a total of $247,800.
The top 100 players had an opportunity to receive a piece of the buy-in, with the minimum prize starting at $520.
However, the player who managed to top this event was Kenneth Neri, from Jackson, NJ. Neri, whose nickname on WSOP.com is “ace710” managed to snatch the biggest portion of the prize pool, earning a total of $59,472 for his effort.

The Final Table Results
The final table consisted of nine players, with Stephen “OregonTilt” Johnson being the first to lose all chips. He walked away with a total of $3,469 added to his poker balance on the site.
After Johnson, it was time for Kevin “skywalker12” Rasor to hit the rail in eighth place. Rasor won $5,203 for his effort.
The next player in line was Brandon Setzer, whose nickname is “z00m7.” Setzer had to leave the game in seventh place, earning a total of $7,929.
Sixth place was reserved for Joseph Cheong, who uses the nickname “biueberry” on WSOP.com. The popular player managed to earn $10,655. Not long after him, it was time for v1kk019 to leave the game.
The player behind this nickname is Victor Pang, and he managed to earn $13,133 after hitting the rail.
Mark Liedtke, popular on WSOP.com as Nostradonkus, ended up fourth, earning a total of $15,611.
The last player to hit the rail before the heads-up play was Lucas “coolhandluke” Gatti, who managed to win $20,567 as a third-placed player.
The final two players who ended up testing each other’s poker skills were Daniel “dtmpoker” Rogers and Neri. Rogers lost and received the consolation prize of $31,470.
Apart from the players who made it to the final table, there are a couple of others who made it to the money list and are worth mentioning here. Matthew “omg_obama” Iles ended up 10th, Daniel “centrfieldr” Lupo was 23rd, and Jarod “SpewUnger” Minghini was 81st. Moreover, Jed “jchak” Hoffman ended up 89th, and Jeremy “chipchecka”
Ausmus was the first to enter the money list as he hit the rail in 100th place.
