As the state of New Jersey moves closer to offering online gambling options, the Division of Gaming Enforcement continues to stay very busy. The DGE has approved several licenses and partnerships for the real money online gambling options in the state and now a payment processor has been approved. According to a recent press release, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has approved Optimal Payments as a processor for the states online gambling payments.
The Optimal Payment Company is the parent of Neteller, a very well-known online payment processor. The group was approved on Friday of last week and now has the right to operate payment processing for the casinos in the state like the Tropicana and the Trump properties. Five casinos have already received approval for online gambling operation and more are soon to follow.
There are a total of twelve casinos in Atlantic City that can take part in the online gambling option in the state but two have been rumored to not be taking part. The group is looking forward to leveraging their vast experience and expertise to help facilitate the online payments process with their new partners in the state of New Jersey.
Things are moving forward very quickly in the state and players located in New Jersey are certainly ready to have an online gambling option. Many states are also watching the process as New Jersey launches since they will be offering more than just online poker as is the option in Nevada.
