There were some changes in U.S. online poker payment processing during the past month. Some of this may be attributed to a huge win from sports bettors two weekends ago. This could have placed some burden on the payment processing systems.

Bovada A (A+)
Bovada is the largest U.S.-friendly online poker site. It is on the Bodog Network. Bovada’s grade slipped a bit this month as there were some slow speeds reported on checks. It is nothing to be concerned about as this is the middle of the busiest time of the year for the sports side of the business. A minor slowdown is expected and speeds are still well within a reasonable time frame.
Checks speeds vary widely, depending on the location of the processor. Some players report deliveries in two or three days. There have been some reports of as long as 17 days. The maximum check amount is $3,000. Check withdrawal requests incur a $50 fee.
Bank wires are processed in 8 to 21 days. The maximum wire amount is $5,000. The fee is $50 for bank wires
Players may request a Visa transfer for withdrawals. These are processed in 1-3 weeks and also have a $50 fee.

Western Union withdrawals are processed in 2-10 days. The fees and amounts are as follows:

BetOnline offers qualifying players one free withdrawal per month. The withdrawal must be made on a Friday and the fee cannot exceed $50. Lock Poker is an absolute scam. It has not processed a withdrawal in over six months. The oldest pending withdrawal requests date back to November 2012, according to a report compiled by Two Plus Two member IHasTehNutz. The site owes nearly $1 million in reported withdrawals and another $2 million in balances. These amounts are only what have been reported to Two Plus Two member IHasTehNutz. It should be obvious that Lock Poker should be avoided.
