IveyPoker.com is poker pro Phil Ivey’s new website that has been in the works for some time now. The site is a new poker training option for gamblers who want to learn more about how the game should be played, according to Ivey and other poker pros. The site is said to be a in the final stages of development and was tentatively scheduled to open on January 14th, but that did not happen. However, the delay in opening has not stopped Ivey from adding pros to the site. In just a few days time, Ivey has added six players to the site!
The new pros signed as part of IveyPoker are: Dan Smith, Andrew Lichtenberger, Aaron Jones, Mathew Frankland, Ronnie Bardah and Kevin Vandersmissen. These players will be representing the poker training site as pros and instructors. Jones, Lichtenberger and Smith all have experience as part of a poker training site as they have participated at LeggoPoker for many years. all three focus on different aspects of the game and will be able to add greatly to Ivey Poker.
Both Bardah and Vandermissen are known for their live game play and will also make great additions to the site. Bardah won his first WSOP bracelet in 2012 and has over one million in winnings from ten years in the industry. Vandermissen has earned several top finishes as well and is known as a top grinder in online tournament play.
Frankland is also a top competitor and has competed in several events including the 2010 English Open, in which he placed third. Frankland is most recently well-known for his appearance in the PartyPoker Premier League V.
Overall, the choices made by Ivey are spot on and the site looks to be shaping up to be a great one, if only it would open up for players to begin the learning process!
