PokerStars has had a great year, with much success all over the globe. However, it doesn’t seem ready to rest as it has already made a plan for 21 events next year, which means that players will have a total of 46 opportunities to win a Platinum Pass for the biggest PokerStars event of the year — the 2020 PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC).
Let’s take a closer look at these events and when and where they are going to take place. Read on!
EPT
A total of three events are planned to be a part of the European Poker Tour, and they are EPT Sochi (March 20-29), EPT Monte Carlo (April 23-May 2), and EPT Barcelona (Aug. 12-30). The tournaments at Sochi and Monte Carlo will award one Platinum Pass each.
PSPC France
There are a total of nine events that will take place in France and Spain, and all are called the “Road to PSPC.” Five of those nine will be held in France, and each of them will award two Platinum Passes.
The first one actually already started, and it takes place in Paris until Dec. 22. The next one is in Le Havre (Jan. 15-19), followed by a tournament in St Amand (Feb. 11-16). The next one is in La Grande Motte (March 10-15), and the last one is in Cannes (June 10-14).
PSPC Spain
The other part of the Road to PSPC will take place in Spain. The first one will be in Barcelona (Jan. 13-19), and it will be followed by the Valencia tournament (March 4-8). After that, the competition moves to Madrid Gran Vila (March 31-April 5), and finally to Madrid Torrelodones (July 1-5). All of the tournaments in Spain will award two Platinum Passes for the best players.

BSOP stands for Brazilian Series of Poker, and it will consist of three events. The first one will take place in Brasilia (Jan. 30-Feb. 4), and it will award one Platinum Pass. The next one is in Sao Paulo (March 19-24), and it brings two Platinum Pass packages.
Finally, the last tournament is called Winter Millions Sao Paulo and will take place on July 15-22, awarding one Platinum Pass.
Manila
There will be a total of seven major events taking place in Manila, where Asian poker players will have an opportunity to win a Platinum Pass.
However, only two out of those seven events actually award the pass, and they are Red Dragon Manila (Jan. 4-11) and Manila Megastack 14 (May 22-31).
Other events that will take place in Manila are Okada Manila Millions (March 9-15), Manila Super Series 14 (July 6-12), APPT Manila 2020 (July 31-Aug. 9), Manila Super Series 15 (Sept. 22-28) and Manila Megastack Challenge (Dec. 6-13).
