Team PokerStars Signs Peter Eastgate and Ivan Demidov

Team PokerStars recently announced the addition of two new players to their poker roster. Peter Eastgate and Ivan Demidov are the latest addition to Team PokerStars and will now represent the online poker room giant at live events as well as land events.

Both Eastgate and Demidov saw major success at last year’s World Series of Poker Main Event. Eastgate broke Phil Hellmuth’s record for being the youngest player ever to win the Main Event at just twenty two years of age. Eastgate earned just over $9 million for winning the Main Event. Eastgate also won the $5,000 event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure as well as doing well in other major tournaments.

Demidov also made the final table at the WSOP Main Event and finished in second place. Not only did Demidov make the final table at the WSOP but he also made the final table at the WSOPE Main event. This is the first time anyone has ever made both final tables in one year.

Both Eastgate and Demidov were sponsored by PokerStars on a limited basis during the WSOP final table and the months after.
