The recent 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $400 Buy-In No-Limit Hold’em Colossus tournament didn’t disappoint poker diehards as it attracted 15,894 players. It had two days of action and two starting flights. But Moshe Refaelowitz was the last man standing as he won his first WSOP bracelet and $501,120.
The Israeli poker player’s latest victory increased his poker career earnings to almost $671,000. He stated in a media interview after the tournament that his win thrilled him as he had realized his dream.

Action Highlights
Only 80 entrants advanced to the final day. Jesse Kertland had the largest stack, and Refaelowitz was 10th on the chip standings. Yet, the latter had increased his chips to be the stack leader when the remaining finalists set the final table as Kertland left the tournament in the 25th position.
Refaelowitz sent Colin Robinson packing in ninth place with $46,800. William Ackerman exited the event in eighth place.
Pete Chen got the stack lead after his A-J suited beat Nikhil Nair’s K-Q and ended his run in seventh place. Refaelowitz’s A-6 dominated Jose Orozcogomez’s A-J thus busting him in sixth place with $100,130. The former got a pair of sixes and won a pot.
David Danlag used pocket threes to face Chen’s pocket threes. But, Danlag lost and left the table in fifth place. Still, Darrick Arreola used 8Club Suit7Club Suit to wager his remaining stack.
He clashed with Refaelowitz’s 8Spade Suit8Diamond Suit before making a seven flop. But Arreola didn’t improve and his run ended in fourth place.
Refaelowitz’s ADiamond SuitQDiamond Suit clashed with Chen’s KDiamond Suit9Diamond Suit as all the chips got in preflop. The latter got a 10Diamond Suit9Club Suit5Diamond Suit and got the stack lead.
Unfortunately, the odds turned against him when Refaelowitz got the top pair from the AClub Suit that matched his nut flush draw. Still, the 8Club Suit eliminated Chen in the third position with $216,320. Reports show that his lifetime poker earnings increased to over $3.7 million.
Refaelowitz regained the lead fast before the event’s final hand. He used 7Diamond Suit4Diamond Suit to check-raise all-in on a 9Diamond Suit6Diamond Suit4Club Suit flop for a flush draw and pair.
Song used ADiamond Suit9Spade Suit to call for the top pair. But, KDiamond Suit landed on the turn and Refaelowitz got a flush. He won the title and pot after 2Spade Suit landed on the board while Song became the runner-up with $300,410.
