Sirichuk Claims the Sunday Million SHR Title As Vousden Comes Second

Samuel Vousden has had a hot run of late and it continued after he was last Sunday Million SHR’s runners-up. This was GGPoker’s biggest buy-in weekly championship as it attracted 45 entrants who formed a $1,125,000 prize pool which the five top players shared.

Artur Martirosian, Mark Radoja, Michael Addamo and Marius Gierse advanced to the final table. Unfortunately, they exited the event before qualifying for cash prizes with Radoja being the last player to get eliminated outside the payout places.

Elio Fox won $116,635 after he left the table in the fifth position and the remaining finalists sealed a deal. Yet, it isn’t unusual for the tournament to have a heads-up deal. But, the four last finalists agreed to reduce pay jumps and to later continue the event.

At that time, Sirichuk was short on stacks as he failed to win third or second place despite topping the pile. But Yuri Dzvielevski won $192,533 after finishing fourth while Rodrigo Selouan received $255,246 after finishing third. Samuel Vousden won $309,745 for being the runners-up.
