The World Cup of Poker brought to us from Poker Stars will begin today. This 4tth annual tournament will be available to poker fans, via a live video stream from Barcelona!
The World Cup of Poker is set to be like the Soccer World Cup event, hence the name, and is an international poker competition. National poker teams will meat up across the poker table for a shot at holding the 2007 World Cup and being named the 2007 World Cup of Poker champions.
Fifty-Seven teams in total entered this years event, now, after a series of brutal qualifying tournaments, 8 teams remain. These final eight teams have been flown to Barcelona, their travel and accommodations paid for by PokerStars, and now they will compete for a $250,000 prize pool.

Thursday (Day 3)

Fifth Heat – 4 p.m.-9 p.m. EST

Final Heat (features the final four teams)
