Zagox Management Acquires Juicy Stakes

Juicy Stakes has been acquired by Zagox Management.  It is unknown who is behind Zagox, but Intertops apparently feels that it is a legitimate company.  On the same day, Intertops announced that it now shares player pools at all limits with Juicy Stakes.  Both are members of the Revolution Gaming Network.

This has not been the case for the past 8 weeks.   At that time, Intertops withdrew its player pool from Revolution Gaming tournaments with a guarantee of more than $1,000, sit and gos with buyins over $20, and all higher limit cash games.

The Intertops segregation policy still covers the following cash games:

• All stakes above Holdem NL $0.5/$1
• All stakes above Holdem PL $0.05/$0.1
• All stakes above Holdem FL $1/$2

• All stakes above Omaha PL $0.05/$0.1
• All stakes above Omaha FL $0.25/$0.5

• All stakes above Omaha Hi/Lo NL $0.25/$0.5
• All stakes above Omaha Hi/Lo PL $0.05/$0.1
• All stakes above Omaha Hi/Lo FL $0.25/$0.5

• All Sit n Gos above a $20 buy-in and multi table tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool over $1,000

This policy is no longer applied to Juicy Stakes.  It is, however, still in effect with other Revolution Gaming skins.

Juicy Stakes has been plagued by slow cashout speeds.  Some US players have reported waiting up to 10 months for withdrawals.  Players outside the US have reported cashout times in excess of 4 months.

All pending cashout requests at Juicy Stakes were canceled when the new management team took over the company.  Players must request withdrawals again.  Checks now carry a $100 fee.  This is the highest check fee of any US online poker room.  Cash transfers are now available.  The fees are $100 for amounts less than $1,000 and $180 for transfers between $1,000 and $1,990.

All pending Juicy Stakes bonuses were canceled.  The new company has stated that it will offer a new reload bonus to make up for this in the near future.

In an email to players, Juicy Stakes states “these changes will allow us to start paying your winnings in a very timely manner”.

Juicy Stakes is offering four $1,000 freerolls each of the next four days to make up for any inconvenience caused by the management team.  These freerolls run daily between the 10th and 13th.  The start time is 2330 GMT.  It appears that Intertops players will be able to join these freerolls as well.  A password was provided by email to qualifying players.
