A big game is being played in Cleveland on Monday night. The visiting Ravens are looking to climb their way back into a crowded AFC playoff picture and are in desperate need of a win in this game to do so. At 7-5, they can likely qualify by simply winning out. The schedule simplifies following this game.

The final three Baltimore opponents will be the Jags, Giants, and Bengals, so 3-0 to close the year shouldn’t be too difficult. It is this game with Cleveland that could determine where they end up. Losses by the Dolphins and Raiders this week helped their cause. A victory is just what they need to bring in, now.

The Browns, on the other hand, are 9-3. It’s been a big year for the boys in orange. Cleveland has been having their best season in a long time, proving that it is no fluke. The return of Nick Chubb to the lineup has propelled the rushing attack to be even better. We’ll see if they have what it takes to avenge the 38-6 loss they took against the Ravens in week one.

ODDS:

The spread for Monday night has the visiting Ravens serving as 3.5-point favorites. The over/under is set at 45.5.

 Ravens Seek Road Victory

Coming off a win over Dallas, Baltimore will play their third weekday game in a row. They played Pittsburgh on a Wednesday and Dallas on a Tuesday. The schedule winds backward a bit further as they will play the Browns on a Monday. This is a rarity in the league, but it is the nature of the season.

They have had their ups and downs, but the Ravens cannot afford to lose any more games. Given how tight things are around them, one loss could ruin their entire year. Lamar and co were able to put p 34 points against a beat-up Dallas team. Now, they have to try and avoid the Browns’ big playmakers on D.

Given that they won by 32 when the teams last met, they shouldn’t be sweating too much.

Browns seeking 10th Victory of the Year

If you’re wondering when the last time we saw a Browns team with 10 wins, you have to go back to 2007. They finished 10-6 that year, still falling short of the postseason. One win in their final four games will have Cleveland right back there. 2007 was also the year LeBron made his first NBA finals. The city was crushing it.

There will be a slight home-field advantage with the Browns being one of the teams that actually host fans at games. Just how much of a factor it is, though, is to be determined. The team will need Baker Mayfield at his best if they want to emerge with the win. The Ravens may be short-handed in the secondary. They need to capitalize.

Ravens Pick Up Another Crucial Win

Sorry Browns, but not today. A huge win for the Ravens as they improve to 8-5. The playoff dream is still alive.
