After the Bucks held on for a game 3 win, they now look to tie the series with the Nets. The team has been struggling in the series, but did manage to eke the last one out. And in doing so, have now saved their campaign. If they want to even up the series, they are going to have their work cut out for them.
As Jeff Green and James Harden remain out for Brooklyn, Bruce Brown has continued to play a large role. Unfortunately, though, he did not quite understand what he was supposed to do in that last game. He took a few too many shots in the final few minutes, and in doing so, prevented Kevin Durant from firing them up. Let’s see who might step up for them this time.
86-83 was the final score of the last game, ending up a lot closer than fans expected. And as a result of that, was a possession-by-possession finish. Khris Middleton and KD exchanged big buckets, while Jrue Holiday’s last-second reverse helped push things over the top. To the roar of the home crowd, they got the last stop, and claimed their first W.
As the series now heads to game 4, Milwaukee is doing all they can to stay alive.

Brooklyn Seeking 3-1 Lead
3-1 leads are not safe in the playoffs anymore. That is what the Cavs, Thunder, Warriors and Nuggets have taught fans in the past six years. Often, having the big lead has not meant winning as a possibility. It is not over until the fourth victory happens, though the goal for these Nets has to be to win, so they could have two opportunities at home to end it.
KD has been terrific all postseason, and this series has seen him further elevate his game. He and Kyrie Irving have been terrific leaders. Blake Griffin is playing his best basketball in a long time, guiding the team at the center spot as well as anybody could.
If they want to get the win, they need to ride KD. They need to make Middleton or Holiday beat them, and not Giannis. And, they need Brown to share the ball.
Bucks Seek Huge Victory
If the Bucks can defeat the Nets, then the series would be tied at two games apiece. Giannis was jacking up threes throughout game 3, but did manage to knock one down in the fourth quarter. It was a doomsday scenario for the fans to watch, but he finished well around the basket to compensate.
Mike Budenholzer is not big on adjustments, and it is well known. He did make one major change, though. He gave huge minutes to his key starters, which had not been the case in the playoffs. Middleton and Holiday both logged more than 40. Giannis played most of the second half.
If the Bucks want a win, they need Middleton to score 30. Giannis has to remain effective. And, they need to make somebody besides KD beat them.
